Vintage ribbons

Before we all had washing machines, bed linen was sent to a laundry to be cleaned, dried and pressed (starched too) so monogrammed marker ribbons were used to identify what belonged to who.  I found these vintage French ribbons on eBay. I love them because they could be used for many craft and sewing projects as well as naming children's clothes and would also make a great personal gift too. A full roll consists of 72 pairs of letters.  Follow this link here to see if your initials are there!
