I 'm super proud to announce that Dashwood Studios have licensed a new group of fabrics called Rainbow Friends. It was fun using rainbows, bright colours and cute animals to create the collection. Hibernate - a new fabric range fromDashwood Studios

I'm super excited to tell you about my new group of fabric designs which will be in the shops soon. Dashwood Studio's licensed 8 of my pattern designs recently. The group is called Hibernate and is inspired by animals that sleep the winter away. They have the best idea I reckon. There are autumnal floral's and lots of cute animals in the group. Ocean Drive makes

Years ago I used to teach workshops as part of my actual job. I worked for a craft company and every year we'd go to The Knitting and Stitching show in London, Dublin and Harrogate and run classes to promote the brand, share skills and to be honest, have a jolly. It was great, I loved it. I loved sharing my joy of making stuff and best of all I loved meeting people. The last few months I've been teaching some basic sewing machine workshops. I was asked so often if taught sewing that I decided to run some classes. I've been using fabulous Dashwood fabrics and this week we used fabrics I'd designed for them, a range called Ocean Drive. So awesome to be ACTUALLY teaching with fabrics I designed!

Seeing someone light up when they make a cushion or complete a buttonhole is so lovely. We have a laugh, eat choccie biccies and spend two hours in fabric and sewing machine heaven.

When I designed the Dancing Robots fabric for Dashwood Studios as part of the Playtime collection I imagined it on little shirts. We are all super woman print

I know many, many super women. Women who hold everything together despite being knocked down over and over again. Women who still smile, look on the bright side and never moan even though I know inside they face struggles everyday. Women who put everyone else first, make sure their children, their parents, their spouse have everything they need and make their lives fab, often sacrificing their own well being. Well, this print is for you the super women , the strong girls, the women who have nerves of Steel and determination of iron. I'm so happy to have been picked by @dashwoodstudio to create a design for this collaborative collection, Cool for Cats. The six of us had to use the same colour palette but apart from that it was up to us to create pussycats of our choice. To have my design snuggled next to designs by such wonderful designers is just THE best! Club Tropicana - fabric swatches have arrived - yey!

I got my hands on some Club Tropicana ACTUAL fabric last week. Dashwood Studio's kindly sent me some sample swatches - yey! I think this is my favourite print in the range. I'd like a simple top in this fabric, will have to get my sewing machine out. I LOVE green so much (used to hate it as my school uniform was green but enough years have passed to forget the bogey green-ness of school days). Thanks Dashwood, my designs look so fab on fabric - really pleased.

Club Tropicana strike offs - hurrah!

The strike offs are in. I created this range for Dashwood Studios last year and seeing the designs on fabric is ace. Whilst designing this I couldn't stop singing the Wham song. I've often got a song in my head related to the work I'm working on. Sometimes it can be an ear worm that just won't go until I move onto something else. Club Tropicana will be in the shops in Spring/summer 2017 can wait to get my hands on some fabric myself : )
