Gardening for kids

Our local garden centre ran a competition for schools in the area, to create a garden in a wheelbarrow. Don't they look fab? We didn't stick around to see which one won (too cold) but my fav. is the one with the miniature garden with it's little veg. patch and paths. Happy Easter everyone and look out for the Easter bunny!

At the village fete there used to be a competition called create a garden on a plate. I was very pleased when I won first prize, especially since my cousin was helped by all the adults. 50p prize!!! xxxx

50p prize - fantastic Tan. I loved making miniature gardens too. We used to make them at primary school, I never won but still remember adding mirror mosaics for the a pond and moss for lawn : )
