Paint a pot
For Craft club last month we went to a pottery studio and had a go at painting a blank piece of pottery. Like a lot of things that look easy, it wasn't. Painting a 3d object with paints that can't be rubbed out was tricky. Once you have finished your pot you have to leave it at the studio for a week to be fired. This was agony as I was dying to see the final colours and effect. Here is my pot finished and fired ready for use. I think it looks okay, a bit blobby in some areas but hey I had a go. I just want to do more now! PS: I tried not to "put a bird on it" but I just couldn't help it.
