It's was my birthday yesterday. I don't want to get any older. I think when you get to a certain age we all feel like that. Maybe if we could just travel backwards and forwards in time and relive happy moments in the past, that would be good and make up for the wrinkles. For starters I'd like to be 8 again and wear this Crimplene dress ("Crimplene", that's a fabric you rarely see nowadays. Incidentally, an old school friend is in a band called
The Crimplenes). This dress was lovingly made by my Mum, it had a prickly lace collar and was extremely short. The good old 70's hey?

Adorable. I remember those home-made crimpy dresses. Highly-flammable they were. In the years when everyone smoked, it's a wonder I never went up in flames! x
