Cacti...

Copyright Stephanie Thannhauser

I've been wanting to do cacti prints for ages. I've finally got round to doing some sketching and planning of  ideas. My mum and dad have a cactus which they inherited and from my grandmother and I think she'd had it for years. I always remember being intrigued by it as a child and a bit frightened of all  those hidden spikes.  Apparently some species of cactus can live for up to 300 years! I just googled that; )

Gorgeous Steph, looking forward to seeing the finished designs. Mum's cactii, which are really old too are now living in my conservatory. I've been experimenting with making cactii pin cushions! X
