Tra- la- la- la- la: Locked Out Of Heaven

I've had this tune as an earworm for the last couple of days, mainly because we sang it at Rock Choir on Wednesday - Bruno Mars - Locked out of Heaven (2012). It was nice to cover a more recent tune and this one is really great fun to sing plus it just makes you wanna dance.

Tra-la-la-la-la: Back to it

Oh what a rousing song this is, perfect for rock choir (Madonna " Like a prayer" 1989 - strange video, apparently it was banned in many countries). It was back to singing last night after the Easter break with the FABULOUS Madge song, a perfect evening.

My prints in Homemaker magazine

It's great to see my designs printed in issue 5 of Homemaker magazines pull out supplement called Print and Pattern Paper Portfolio. They used my leaf print on the front cover too. The papers are all garden themed and can be used for craft projects, greetings cards, pictures, tags etc...  The magazine is full of making, interiors, stitching, baking and knitting. Cadbury World

We went to Cadbury World yesterday. As if we hadn't eaten enough chocolate over the Easter Bank Hols. Anyway, we had a great time seeing how Cadbury's make their chocolate and the kids loved seeing it packaged and on the conveyor belt. Plus while you are on the tour you are given lots of free choccie - hurrah! My fav. part of the trip was seeing all the old adverts and packaging, the 60's stuff was so inspirational (anyone remember the Milk tray advert from the 1980's?). It's a great day out if you are in the Birmingham area. For more info see here.

Home baking

I ate way too much chocolate over Easter and all these scrummy home-made goodies too - detox required asap (although we are going to Cadbury World tomorrow so might have to postpone the healthy eating plan!). I hope everyone had a great long weekend and that the Easter bunny paid you a visit?
