Did anyone else admire (and want) the Caravan Club garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show last week? The caravan, called Doris, was the focal point of the garden, created by Jo Thompson, for the West Sussex based Caravan Club to help celebrate its 105th anniversary. The 1950's aluminium caravan was used as a centre-piece and surrounded by pink and cream planting. I only saw it on the TV but WOW! I think a caravan in my garden would be FABULOUS. On a sunny day I could work in there, it could be a guest room or I could hide from my kids when they annoy me :)

Hello Mrs Cheese - lovely too see you and thanks for dropping by. Yes Doris is great, I have been looking on ebay for a caravan like her but V. expensive plus as my husband pointed out how would we get it in the garden, we'd need to hire a crane : ( x
Didn't see it but love it, my neice has one that's been sitting on her drive for over a year waiting to do it up, she got it from ebay & it needed more structural work than she bargained for!!can't remember what she's called hers.....x
Lucky girl Myra - I would love one even if I had to renovate it x
Not sure I'll be able to get my hands on a cool caravan for the garden any time soon, but it has inspired me to give my shed a makeover! Thanks for the inspiration! xx
Excellent Nicola - I look forward to seeing it : )
OOh yes, I would love a caravan, but like you there's no way I could actually get it in there. xx
