Winter Light

Bruce Monro has another FABULOUS selection of light installations in the Waddesdon Manor gardens this Christmas called Winter Light. It was freezing cold but great to see more of Bruce's creations. Works include "Gathering of the clans" which has neon pegs on washing lines representing birds perching, the wonderful "Field of light" which is a flower garden of changing colours and a huge dome called "Beacon" made from plastic bottles. If you live nearby it finishes soon so try and get there if you can. The house is beautifully decorated too : )

I only had time to make a few handmade cards this year but here they are complete with tacky pom-poms, gotta be done really...

We finally got the tree up and decorated...

Fairytail of New York - The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl

We are learning this at choir at the mo. It's great fun full of love and hate plus it''s a classic Christmas song. I love singing the "You scumbag you maggot" bit which should go down well tomorrow when we sing for the lights switch on in Leighton Buzzard : )

It's a month away!

It's Christmas mode at home and work as I work on designs for Xmas 2015 and frantically start shopping lists and looking at my kids LONG wish lists.
