Sketchbook time!

You get busy, you have deadlines, demands from children, work and other boring domestic stuff it's not surprising that sketchbook work goes out the window. I've been following the Pattern Observer's  5 day shake up this week which has been a fab reminder to take time to be creative and explore. Take a look here and do it too, it's free!

Hiding!

Every year, I decorate the house Halloween stylee, I make a spooky supper (green spag bol or hot dog witches fingers and a dessert of jelly with body parts in or slime aka green yoghurt) and then we walk around the streets Trick or Treating. This year my daughter is too cool to go out and I guess will be in her bedroom on her phone and my son is going out with his mates dressed up as scary clowns! Hubby and I are redundant, we are not needed anymore for the Halloween extravaganza which seems to gain momentum every year. Instead, we'll be hiding behind the sofa with the lights off. Don't knock we aren't in and I haven't bought any sweeties anyway...
