International Pineapple Day!

So there is a day to celebrate the wonderous pineapple. It was yesterday, here is my little celebration of one of my favourite fruits which also contribute to the yummy Pina Colada - yey! : )

A very sunny Luton Carnival 2017

Thankfully The Luton Carnival was a very peaceful event, people for all religions and cultures celebrating together, the costumes were inspiring and the music loud - brilliant! Nice to visit my old stomping ground too as I grew up in Luton. It felt very nostalgic to be back in such a familiar place.  : )

Club Tropicana - fabric swatches have arrived - yey!

I got my hands on some Club Tropicana ACTUAL fabric last week. Dashwood Studio's kindly sent me some sample swatches - yey! I think this is my favourite print in the range. I'd like a simple top in this fabric, will have to get my sewing machine out. I LOVE green so much (used to hate it as my school uniform was green but enough years have passed to forget the bogey green-ness of school days). Thanks Dashwood, my designs look so fab on fabric - really pleased.

I'm not really a sports car sort of person, I would prefer to spend the money on a holiday to be honest. However, if you know someone who likes flash cars then you might like to buy them this card. Joseph Frank

I loved the Joseph Frank exhibition at The Fashion and Textiles Museum in London. Big prints, gorgeous colours and fabulously presented. Inspirational! It finishes soon though so get a wriggle on if you want to see it : )
