The whole 2016 advent calendar

Voila - the whole advent calendar. I thought I might struggle to do 24 (I only managed 20) but I'm pretty pleased I managed to do these : )

Time to party!

Work is finished for me for two weeks - yey! I'm going to put my Christmas hat on and relax under the Christmas tree with a box of chocolates and a glass of fizz. Happy Christmas everyone and I hope you have really fab and wonderful holibobs : )

Garden stalkers.

My husband is a gardener. He often finds he is being followed by a robin while weeding or cutting someones lawn. They are watching for worms of course. They are so bright and know that a gardener will inadvertently be unearthing lots of food for them.

Home-made deccies

We've nearly got all our deccies up. This year our kids have banned the home-made decorations, we are going all sophisticated and colour themed apparently. I love the blobs made out of clay, the baubles covered in glitter glue and the angel made from doilies my kids made at nursery. Aw well, they can stay in the box and may-be I'll be allowed to put them out next year.

I'm burning the candle at both ends this week.

I'm at another Christmas party tonight. Fingers crossed I can get my party dress on. It's on the small side but a fabulous charity shop bargain : )

New florals

I got some new sharpie lookie likey pens from the pound shop, they are pretty good. Of course my kids have the proper Sharpies in their all singing all dancing pencil cases. Only the best for them plus new stationary always distracts them back into a new school term. Three weeks in I wonder how much they have lost.

I have NO interest in football. Every week I trudge to football matches and training with my son and try and look interested when the reality is I haven't got a clue what's going on. Usually I miss any goals because I enjoy the chance for a natter with anyone who will listen. I enjoy creating football designs though and I'm really pleased Jodds decided to create cards and wrap using my little footieball player.
