Craft Space

I've started running a little crafty workshop called Craft Space. The projects I will be teaching are quick easy makes that are clever, useful and beautiful. The idea came about because I know lots of people that are very crafty but never find time to make anything, family life just crashes in on all their spare time - hence Craft space was born, a space to craft. Here are some pics from the first Craft Space this week. Lovely buttoney necklaces - great fun and really interesting seeing how differently everyone's necklaces turned out : )

Immobile mobile

We made these at craft club yesterday using old maps and paperback books (my pile of tatty books are coming in very handy lately). They are very easy to make. Just cut out two butterfly   shapes using old maps, books etc.... Then, sandwich some wire in the middle with some glue, add a button for the head if you like and fan the wings out a bit -voila!

I always seem to take loads of snaps of doors when I'm on holiday. I would love a nice front door like one of these (and the nice house that goes with it too).
