Fashion and Textile Museum

Chat chat chat, eat munch drink, more nattering and laughing, that was my fabulous weekend in London with my mates. Oh yes, we did some culture too. The Fashion and Textile Museum has an excellent exhibition called Designing Women - Post War British Textiles. As you can see, it features lots of lovely Mid Century modern work with textiles from Lucienne Day, Jacqueline Groag, Mary White and many others. It has a nice cafe too! Here is a link to it here.

This weekend I will mostly be drinking something sparkly, eating salty snacks (and cake) and catching up with the gals - Yey!

A recent Conversation

"Why" my husband said.
"Because it was only £2 and I love it and it will look great on the wall with nick nacks in" I replied.
He laughed and said "but it's more STUFF". He remembers the days of no cushions (to make the place cosy), clear shelves (I admit easy to clean but not very homely) and black ash (need I say more?).
Cute though hey and could you have walked pass this in the charity shop?
