Cold, dark...mid winter brrrrrrrrr...

It's horrible out there so I've been snuggling up and crafting. I've been collaging, have gone pom-pom crazy (have been adding pom-poms to everything, watch out kids), making clay buttons,  and rejigging my blog - what-da-ya-fink so far?

Wordy love

The brief was simple: Valentines designs, wordy, glittery and newsprinty.  Lovely I thought, I like a bit of glitter and LOVE using texty print in my designs.  Here they are my "Mad about you" Valentine card designs I created for the folk at Second Nature, you can buy them here

Sunshine and dust

So it's been sunny here the last couple of days which means you can really see the dust. I thought about doing some dusting but instead found myself re-arranging some shelves and photographing my new arrangements. I loved faffing around with these pots and vases, looking at the transparency and putting the colours together. I did clean these for the photographs (honest) so at least one corner of my house is dust free : )

Getting organised?

It's that time of year when you start thinking about getting sorted and start planning holidays and other stuff. Over on the Nostalgiecat Blog, June has been getting super organised and has made a fab. calender and blackboard organiser. She has used some of my prints I designed for Homemaker magazine last year. It's always cool to see what people feel inspired to make with your designs. Take a look here and see how she made it.
